Griffin Auctioneers Partners with the Solas Cancer Support Centre as 2025 Charity Partner

We’re delighted here at Griffin Auctioneers to announce that our 2025 Charity Partner is the Solas Cancer Support Centre in Waterford.
As part of this collaboration, for every home sold by Griffin Auctioneers in 2025, we will make a donation on behalf of our clients to the Solas Cancer Support Centre. These contributions will go towards providing vital free professional cancer support services to individuals and families across the South East.
Cancer affects so many lives, and yet, while 53% of cancer diagnoses are in men, only 27% of Solas’ service users are male. This year, we’re committed to helping change that by raising awareness and encouraging more men to avail of the incredible free counselling, relaxation therapies, and group support services that Solas provides.
Throughout the year, we’ll be taking part in key fundraising initiatives, including:
✔ Croke Park Abseil – Michael Griffin takes on a thrilling challenge to kickstart fundraising efforts.
✔ Solas Run/Walk for Life – Supporting one of Waterford’s most well-loved charity events.
✔ Community Fundraisers – From coffee mornings to local events, we’ll be working together to raise awareness and funds.
This partnership is part of our Keys to the Community initiative, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to giving back to the local communities in Waterford City and County.
